Firm Vision
Turning innovation into strategic advantage
Lek IP looks beyond the immediate task of securing patents. The long-term vision is to help innovators transform intellectual property into an asset that drives growth, supports investment, and strengthens competitive positioning. By connecting patents with broader business strategy, Lek IP works toward a future where intellectual property is central to sustainable success.
The Founder
Christian M. Lek
Founder & Principal Attorney
-“Protecting innovation begins with understanding the passion that created it.”
Christian is a registered patent attorney with experience across business, computer science, and chemistry. He began his career in-house, gaining firsthand perspective on how companies evaluate inventions, balance budgets, and make difficult decisions about what to protect. That experience shaped a practical, business-minded approach to patent law, which mirrors the passion inventors have for their work while staying grounded in commercial realities.
After years in Big Law advising clients from early-stage startups to established Fortune 500 companies, Christian founded Lek IP to provide high-quality, responsive patent services without the overhead and delays of larger firms. His work emphasizes clarity, efficiency, and strategic alignment so that intellectual property serves not only as protection but as a business advantage.
Christian combines technical fluency with practical business insight, tailoring his approach to the unique goals of each client. This perspective allows inventors and executives alike to work with an attorney who understands not just the law, but also the technology under discussion and the strategic decisions that follow.
When not working with clients, Christian enjoys exploring new technologies, playing board games and video games, and discovering hidden food spots around Los Angeles.
